A personalized kids book that never asks for child photos.
If you want a custom family story without uploading your child’s face, Nidobook was built for that. Characters draw from adult family and pets only — then you preview every page free before you pay.
Why parents (and gift givers) hesitate
Many personalized book products want a photo of the child so the character looks like them. That can feel convenient — until you pause on where a toddler’s face goes, who trains on it, and whether a gift really needs that trade. Nidobook’s default is different: keep childhood likenesses out of the intake, and still deliver a book that feels like their world.

How likeness works without a child photo
- 1
Adult family and pets only
You can share photos of grown-ups and pets who share the child’s world. Those faces inform characters who love them — not a digital clone of the child.
- 2
Names, places, and rituals
The story strength comes from real details: grandma’s kitchen, the dog’s name, the beach weekend, the nickname only this family uses.
- 3
You judge the whole book first

Privacy-first is a gift value, not a footnote
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends often gift the book without having family photo libraries on hand. Adult and pet photos are optional support for texture — not a barrier. The dedication, the name on the cover, and the private family world still make it unmistakably theirs.

No child photos FAQ
- Do I need a photo of the child for a Nidobook?
- Never. Nidobook does not require child photos. You may share adult family or pet photos only; character art is built around the people who love the child, not a child portrait upload.
- Will the child still feel like the hero?
- Yes. Their name, dedication, family people, pets, places, and moments shape the story. The book is made for them without using their face as training or input data.
- Is this safer for gifts from relatives?
- Often yes. Gift givers can create without access to a child’s photo library, and parents do not have to receive a gift process that asked for a child’s face.
- When do I pay?
- Only after you approve the full preview. Softcover is $49 and Heirloom Hardcover is $69. You can open the preview without a credit card.
