- I do not live nearby — can I still create this?
- Yes. Start from the memory you hold, then add names and family details you know. Review the Book Proof yourself. If parents should confirm a detail, ask them before you approve and order.
- What if the parents should write the story?
- You can begin the memory and dedication, then ask parents to help with names or details before anyone pays. The Book Proof is private to the person making the book; we do not offer an anonymous public proof link.
- Do I need a photo of my grandchild?
- No. A child photo is never required. If a parent or legal guardian supplies one, it stays private and is used for that book. Reference photos and face crops expire 30 days after upload, whether or not you buy a book.
- Is this a Christmas story I have to choose?
- No. Christmas is a time to give the book. You begin with the memory itself — a visit, an outing, or a bedtime ritual. There is no separate grandparent or Christmas option in the create flow.
